Tarros de chutney - Bobby Baker

Through a direct and crude language but full of humor, Baker's performances, installations and drawings explore the everyday life and privacy of an individual as he occupies different social spaces: a woman / British middle class / a mother / an artist/ a psychiatric patient/ a cancer patient. The observation and representation of daily life, that which is socially identified as private because it is valued as irrelevant or taboo, is a practice that, although it begins to gain some visibility in the contemporary age, is never fully freed from these stigmas.
