Paisaje Sobre Seda (Landscape on Silk), Sol Calero

Paisaje sobre seda (Landscape on Silk), 2024 is a special edition silk scarf made by Sol Calero reproducing a full-scale painting. The canvas of the same title shows a landscape typical of the artist' imagery surrounded by different decorated frames, one inside the other. The structures incorporate architectural elements into the natural landscape and decorative vegetation, and they work in symbiosis with different projects typical of Calero's research.

This special edition is produced on the occasion of Sol Calero participation in the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, curated by Adriano Pedrosa.
