On their Hearts They Walked - Jehad Jarbou (Poetry) and Moayed Abu Ammouna (Photography)

On Their Hearts, They Walked is a collaborative work of the Gazan poet Jehad Jarbou and Gazan photographer Moayed Abu Ammouna. This book is about displacement, destruction and death, but also about love and resilience.

As Jehad wrote: ‘these are words among tents of displacement, bearing fragmented pain to stitch together a patched tent that clings to the hearts of those who read it. Together with Moayed’s unique artistic lens, which conveys the pain and the beauty of love despite it all - Gaza’s oxygen breathes through this book’.

All proceeds from sales of this book go directly to the author and photographer  and their families in Gaza.
