Of Water - Heike Kabisch and Nina Hanz

Of Water is an experimental booklet that ebbs and flows between art and language, inspired by Heike Kabisch’s exhibition  Memories in deep creeks at ChertLüdde. Written by Nina Hanz, the text takes on the perspective of a sculpture in constant flux, moving like waves across a landscape of images—sculptures and drawings by Heike Kabisch—that trace an unfolding creative process. The narrative intertwines lyrical prose with fragments of literary history, crafting a free-form journey that mirrors the artistry it evokes.

Designed by Mariateresa Lattarulo, this handmade booklet *uses a variety of materials* in addition to photographs by Ayami Awazuhara. Published in March 2025, the first edition is limited to just 25 copies.
