"It’s Eid, we’ll work for 12 hours at night. I’ll come back in the morning" is one of many messages left daily by Fitnete Veselaj Kastrati, Doruntina Kastrati's mother, to inform the family about her daily working schedule.

These notes and her mother's working reality were the subject of the presentation "The Echoing Silences of Metal and Skin”, addressing feminized labor and workplace inequality, which Kastrati developed for the Pavilion of the Republic of Kosovo at the 2024 Venice Biennale.*

Building on this series of works and their quest, this small notebook carries forward the idea of leaving little memos for our loved ones or gathering thoughts that pass through our minds during the day.

Intended as a repository for words, the notebook extends the message of affection to others far away, with all proceeds from sales regularly donated to support humanitarian organizations active in the Gaza Strip.
